Intro:  Word Power Made Easy by Norman Lewis is a master piece. A must read book for CAT, GMAT, SSC, TOEFL, GRE etc. exam.  Authored by Norman Lewis, the grammarian from New York who has several other English language books to his credit, 'Word Power Made Easy' has been published by Goyal Publishers and became popular soon after the first edition was released in the year 2009. Pros:   1.The best book to learn and speak English that is used world wide. 2. The author uses etymological  method for learning words quickly and permanently . 3. For CAT exam,  one should have vocabulary of  minimum 5000 words. This book helps a lot. 4. For GATE exam, generally we get 15 marks out of 100 in aptitude and English section and this year 20219-20 General cut-off was 21 marks .
